@@lucytheaxe184 only during time between finishing altars and killing boss. If you are quick and prepared I guess you can do it in 2 or 3 days, and have wereforms during bossfight. If you want to take it easy, I'd say that changing character is advised ;p

If you look at all the altars and look at the phases of the champoin, you'll see that each altar is a phase and that there is an enlightened crown on one of them. The other armours (to me) are shaped like a sword hilt and a chest plate with shoulder guards. This could be the complete set Beard was talking about

I would say the crown is good like it is. It gives you sanity ,provide light if enough sanity ,spawns gestalts when attacking and that all without durability. With armor on the crown that piece would be insanely op.

You can find Crab super easy if you just do the forgoten knowledge puzzle 1st . The pointer thing will show you its location once you found all other celestial pieces . You can also find lunar island that way

I really hope they will actually develop the story between the shadows/lunar war because this seems a bit off to what's happening down below in the underworld so far. Developing that would answer a lot of questions about the ancients and the forces lurking in the world and how the actual players can be a part and influence the story.

I think that if the crown became an armor piece, that would be too OP, even for late game. It's basically a more powerful tam'o'shanter without durability, infinite light, and jestaults to help. That's already very OP. It doesn't need to be an armor piece too.

Only a handful of folk have been unnecessarily difficult in whatever "arguments" they've found themselves in about all this but as always they are simply the vocal minority. Again, I mostly said that cause I agreed with people feeling like the update felt strangely disconnected to itself somehow - like a two part-er of sorts.

But what would be awesome if they also made a branching patch where instead you can defeat crazy nightmare creatures, starting with the Fuelweaver, pretty much standing on the side of Them in this battle.

no because otherwise this crown is not worth all the pain and suffering. I think a 30 or 40% damage resistance would be best, at least it can protect you for a little bit of damage so the unlimited durability is not that overpowered

@@stoopochky i mean, its a utility headgear like minehat but with high sanity restoration, light and no durability or fuel requirement AND its gets you free extra damage with geshtalts. All of this is enough already

@@holyuji Then i see no point in killing this boss as sanity and light are super easy to get - you can just use a miner hat or even moggles and eat cooked cacti, what is the point? also the help of gestals is not worth spending so much time on all this - plus it goes to the head slot so you will still fight bosses without it as a head slot armor is always better - it allows you to have a backpack or even magiluminacense which are 100X bette than any body armor. Ok, if armor doesnt stack it means that adding a small damage resistance to it is a even better option - if you dont have a log suit, then you enjoy a small damage resistance but if you do have a log suit, then it does not matter. Plus you want to always carry a backback with you for more slots, not always wear a log suit to protect you, since its a sanity restoration OVER TIME so you basically have to wear it always to get a benefit from it

The Detector simply shows you where the altars are, you still have to obtain them normally. Sorry, friend, if it were that easy this video wouldn't have been as long as it was! :D

Mostly unrelated, but I’m just realizing, this and the whole innactive portal in the Archives, this might be leading to not just the endgame, but the end of the game. As in, an actual end goal for DST worlds besides just survives and boss fights for the sake. I mean, I don’t know how they connect yet but alsoyou don’t seem to actually get energy or anything from the lunar siphonator. Not yet anyway. Or it could lead to something like the Forge and Gorge with how the survivors’s luck goes.

My guess is the next update will address the Archives again with the sealed portal and the 3 content update of 2021 will bring A LOT to an end, yes. Maybe not a real end but certainly this storyline.

To get the three Alters is like a long journey in itself, you need to get to the archives for the Astral Detector, then painstakingly increase your friendship level with the Hermit for the Pearl and then defeating one of the most annoying boss in DST to get the celestial tribute, having no idea why he has it at the first place and then complete the Eye of the storm twice to summon the Celestial Champion. And all for what? Just an illuminating crown? Too much work for so little loot lol. Even fuelweaver has better loot.

I'm a bit disappointed, tbh. I expected something cooler and that would add more to the lore, something that'd make the players feel accomplished after going through all that trouble... But maybe it's like you said, it's just a part of something yet to come. Also, it's kinda neat that they've put Wagstaff there.

One thing i don't see anywhere on youtube is how much repeatable is this boss. Can you just socket all altars right back and fight him again and again? Or does he have a cooldown. Can 1 day long night be reset by summoning moonstorms making it full moon once more, or do you need to wait till it passes. Given that the fight only takes time, and (with enough skill) nearly no resources at all, it seems like an easy way to grind up that moon glass for cutters and axes for whole server. And obviously with constant full moon night, why is nobody talking no light ever needed on the surface and non stop working free pig farms! With that energy, by only the cost of mere storm somewhere you don't even go, and frustrating woodie mains, you are set up for life, Charlie's no more!

The first two phases, sure, but they move around all the time so you'll have to keep bringing them back to the traps.

He's pulling some stings and we aren't quite sure what they are yet. He is from Hamlet technically yes however he likely has the ability to teleport anywhere within The Constant so I wouldn't think about it in that way too much. But yes, he only spawns after the storms start for now and leaves once we defeat the new boss.

The only problem I have with the new update is that, is just another bossfight. Thats it. Which is.... nothing dpecial or worth while for the actual game itsself in my opinion. Bosses add only so much to the game. And in my opinion,can be ignored entierly, and still allow you to enjoy 99% of the game's content.
