His design at tier 3 is very unique compared to the others. Except of having a cartoon like design, he has a very creepy smile, wild opened eyes and his hunchback like posture gives him a pretty animalistic figure. He's probably the worst nightmare of all of don't starve players : a true nightmare being that can reach you no matter how far you are to him.

I think i understand each shadow's difficulty; Bishop has little to no experience fighting, unlike the Knight or the Rook. That's why they're the easiest to take down. Rooks are sturdier, explaining their HP. Their strength, however, is balanced, not as strong as the Knight nor as weak as the Bishop. Knights, being soldiers, are going to be the toughest to beat due to their skill. Don't fight them last until you're ready.

That Moon cycle is for DS, in DST the Full Moon is every impair day+1, for example 11, 31, 1251, and New Moon is the pair numbers like 01, 21, 81. Good guide as allways

Shadows never interact with anyone but characters in this game. So your beefalo will do nothing no matter the herd size

Strategy I came up with: As WX-78, break the completed sculptures on the full moon, and upgrade via the gears dropped. Then, make the sculptures again in an arena that favours you in some way.

I like to think that the shadow boss’s are correlations of their chess piece counter part, the knight comes up beside you and lunges at you if you are in his radius, the rook will seemingly appear next to you on the other side of the map as long as there is nothing in the way and the bishop will try to get next to you by crabbing around the board but mostly missing unless they get a good shot.

Preparation and Strageties: (wolfgang) On a new world if I find the marbles by day 3or4 I usually can kill the Shadow Pieces after the BQ fight. Let's say you start a new world: (this is what works the best for me it might not be the same for everyone) -Explore the roads at day (because at night its gonna be hard to see them) -When the night comes make sure you have 1 torch and you gather twigs and grass (or materials for the Alchemy Engine) -If you find 1 or 2 suspicious marbles by day3 its the very good (if you find suspicious tree dig it and get the resource into the ruins to make the thulecite club or star caller's staff) -Day 4 you must prepare for ruin rushing (2 footbalhelmets,hambat,1lantern,1pickaxe,1hammer) optional (1shovel for the bmush in the wilds or 10bmush, more footballhelmets) -By day 6 you should've found the ruins and get yourself some gems and killing the ancient guardian for the sweet loot. (if you get the lazy explorer you are set, but the thulecite club will work as well) -By day 8 you should on the surface with : 1 Magiluminescece, some frazzling wires (5-10), gears (1-3), and (thulecite crown if you didn't get the good drops on ancient guardian [lazy explorer, thulecite club]) -Day 9 you should find pk and give him the frazzling wires while hammering the pighouses and killing pigs one by one if one of them drops the 'event belt thingy' offer it to the PK and try to snatch one gold and go back to the base. -Day 10 if you already found the desert and pk I will focus on getting 40/40 grass and killing spiders (40 silk) -Day12 you should make some fences (12) and go back to the PK and wait for the event to end getting yourself 2 gold. place the fences in a particular order that the pigs can't get the gold if its dropped between the fences. (you can repeat to get 40 gold) -day 13-14 get yourself some gold nuggets and start building the base if you didn't already (i usually want more to see the map and base near BQ), you should have 1alchemy engine(you can hammer the one into the caves) 1crockpot (or more if you want) 1pigshrne (because its very good food wise) 1icebox and 1lighting rod. -day 16 you should have gather all the loot for the BQ (4-5 bee hats, 60 blue mushrooms, 1football helmet for the nightmare creatures because we are going against her insane. 1hambat, 1magiluminescence and some NF (nightmare fuel) (thulecite crown optional if you crafted it or getting it form ancient guardian) -day 18 should be the end of the fight you should get yourself the saddle and 40 twiggs to tame the tame the beef( if you didn't find the 2 or even 3 suspicious marbles it will be hard to take the pieces back) -day 20 you should be done repairing the setpiece. this time should be spend by getting 2-3 football helmets 1thermal stone 1 fire precrafted 1 magiluminescence 1hambat 1-2 pierogies for healing if you made the birdcage ( you can take blue mushrooms too) 1pickaxe -day 21 all the items are ready. you need to kill walrus for the cane (if you dont have the lazy explorer) and prepare When its about to be day use your pickaxe on the knight and start attacking him ( usually its dead before the other ones attack u) if not dodge them Second phase go to the nearest road while the shadow pieces are on the screen (you dont want them to despawn) use your cane and magiluminescence to dodge some of the attacks of the bishop While on the road wait for the bishop to attack (he will deal some damage to you but its undogeble) and bait the rook attack by running on the road and attack the bishop until the next rook attack is incoming, repeat (try to sync them almost in the same time) Phase 3 (rook) dodge by running on the road with the magiluminescence and cane (you dont need the cane as wolfgang) place the firecamp and dodge the rook hit 9 times dodge by night 22 they should be dead. Now you can use the dark armor and dark sword to get the second scale from DF (use the rocks that you gatherd to make walls, 10 on each side its ok) after getting the first scale you can go back to dodgeing.

Here is another thing to do to move the marble Figure out how the special moon portal works and change into Walter. After that feed woby some monster meat and ride her to the pieces and pick them up. Bring them to the sculptures and prepare and change back to your original character

Use Portal Paraphernalia on the florid postern, Upgrade it to a lunar portal using 15 moonrocks and a purple moonlens. Then a lunar key is needed for each character change.

If you want to kill them after you got the bone armor. Always leave the shadow rook last, with the bone armor you can tank it without taking any damage, just stand still and hit.

For soloing the shadow pieces, it's easiest to leave the rook for last. It's easy to kite with a road, a cane, and a magi (Edit: a mighty wolfgang won't need the magi, allowing for a body armor/backpack). If you're in a full server, it is possible to stun lock the knight, making it best to leave it for last. Bishop is usually first to die in all cases, because avoiding damage from it is impossible

Say, if for some insane reason you sculpt 5 pieces and next New Moon you hammer just 1 all 5 will spawn... and if you take down 1, the remaining 5 will ALL level up and so on... so you can get all 3 level 3 shadow pieces active, and will also drop 3 shadow atriums. Maybe multiple players could do it

Beard I have a character Idea The beard " you can do anything by smacking your meat" 1: starts of with a beard it has the same insulation as Wilson's fully grown beard NOTE it can NOT be shaved 2: the player is able to craft a weapon called the Beard bat it's like a hambat but it last for 20 days instead of 10 to craft it you'll need 4 beard hairs 3 meat and 5 sticks Weaknesses: because of the Beard you'll over heat in the summer way faster 2: When your senisy drops below 70 your hunger drops by 30 each minute The stats: 200 health 200 hunger 200 sanidy IF some moder wants to use this idea please creadit me Sorry if I mis spelled anything

So you need beards to craft items but you cannot shave yourself. You are aware about how stupid that sounds right?. Basically you cant craft you character specific item if playing alone or no one else on that server grows a beard which makes no sense.
