@@justanaverageferret Yes but den aggro doesn’t happen unless a player hurts a spider or bothers a nearby un-decorated den. So long as the dens by the base are decorated then it just seems like players will have to treat the dens and spiders like any other neutral mob in the game.

@@TheBeard777 I checked with abigail, and even with her stunlock, if there's enough of them enough of them get through with heals that you can't kill them. So unless it's massive AoE dotlike effect they would still be able to heal through it. Still would struggle against majority tho.

Yeah, most AoE bosses will still destroy spider armies without MAJOR help from Healing Glops or Nurse spiders - or both - so not too sure about that one.

I just tried ruin rush with Webber, and the whistle worked great at calling down huge amount of cave spiders to help in fights, especially against bishops. However, Webber still default attacks cave spiders when pressing F, not sure if it's a bug.

The "Silky Speed Boost" may actually be working as intended, as the boost he currently gets negates the amount of speed lost by other characters when they walk on webbing. I don't know if that's always been a thing with Webber, though

Decorating seems to prevent the dens from changing tiers even if you try to upgrade them with silk yourself

Wow, so many quality of life changes for my boi Webber. Less trouble with spider civil war, easier time making spider army, can now sleep in dens for sanity and health(saves up glands especially early-game), no need to have spiders attacking nests to reset tiers. Spiderd bein able to be picked up means no need to wait for them as you walk on the road with the walking cane. Just a whole lot of changes to make a spider farm much more worth the trouble.

One correction: befriending for spiders isn't on a timer anymore, it's indefinite (until you change shards, disconnect, use a shoo box, attack them, or death do you part). They confirmed in the Dev Stream that this is indeed an intended mechanic.

Seems like an solo hitting boss would get destroyed by the spooder army. Also having plenty of ranged spooper with you meleeing might be more broken then we think. They are far more renewable then pigs and bunnies so I wanna see spooder army vs bosses like you did with winona

Yeah, most AoE attacks are still going to mess them up without some major help from Nurses or Healing Glops but single-target attackers stand no chance now. The heals will keep spiders in the game nowadays.
