DIO means everything to me since mid 80s! Love to see a young person learning about DIO! I only read a zillion times how kind he was, but I appreciate that voice!!! Lastly, I am worried the son may be sensitive to the laundry soap used in your house. As a person with allergies and sensitivities, I noticed all that scratching. Not trying to be offensive, just helpful.

Whether it's making wishes, smelling flowers or dreaming of women, not everything is what it appears to be. Everything in this world can lead down a rabbit hole of distractions and dead ends, finding one caught up in a life and world that one doesn't even want. All of this because what looked and sounded good from the outside i.e shiny objects from a distance, was a sort of mirage. Don't Talk To Strangers, breaks this spell, by being strikingly ironic, unmasking an illusion or deception by being incongruent to one's expectations. This 1983 song in the end really doesn't give you an answer but is more like the saying: "Losing an illusion makes you wiser than finding a truth." - Ludwig Borne.

This whole album is fantastic! The next one, Last In Line, is also great and is my favourite Dio album. The next album, Sacred Heart, is good too, but not quite as good as the first two IMO. There was good material on subsequent albums, but nothing can tough the first two. I knew you guys were gonna like this...I mean, who could NOT like it, right? A Rick Springfield reaction would have been better. Don't Talk to Strangers, Jessie's Girl, I've Done Everything for You - so many good songs. You should really put him on your 80's artists list, although I had no idea he released quite a few albums in the 70's and released an album in March of this year. I thought Working Class Dog was his first album when it was actually his fifth.
