In the comics the Goblin Serum was made to replicate Captain America’s Super Soldier Serum. So yes it gave the person enhanced Strength and Intelligence but also cost them their sanity.

Interesting fact: In the early stages of production, Spider-Man was originally gonna be directed by James Cameron and it was gonna rated R. As cool as cool as that would’ve been, I’m more satisfied with the movie we already got.

the avengers spiderman aka newest one is the closest yet to the comic spiderman. he doesn't shoot webs out his arm he has devices. hes really just a kid. not all this muscle like in this version. etc. alot of stuff
