DVDFab Photo Enhancer seems to outperform Gigapixel. Lets Enhance is pretty good too but tends to blur on higher resolutions.

Why do you think he gave up Gimp? In the long run no affiliate income comes from that.

3 reasons: 1. GIMP is on life support... video for more detail on this coming in a week or two 2. there are better instructors on GIMP than myself. check out; @DaviesMediaDesign 3. I don't use GIMP personally... I use Photoshop

oh, and a fourth is... there is no money to be made with GIMP. my course sales are dying along with GIMP. and of course no affiliate sales.

@@ParkerPhotographic if you feel you have covered everything in gimp, and feel things do not need revisiting then I understand. Only thing as a creator I would think about is that the majority of your subscribers found you from searching for gimp. #1 reason because it is free. But now you are going to try to tap into a program that others have already tapped into. Giving your subscribers a choice to shell out for a paid product or search for another channel. You might get a better view retention with videos like, 'gimp can't do this' or 'you can do this in lightroom but only get this close in gimp'. Then you will still maintain the gimp viewers, encouraging them to switch and to still follow you and give the gimp team more to do, what's left of them aha.
