In some point of my life i read a magazine, where they say, "Simon Belmont Haunted Castle shares the same name of the legendary hero, but this Belmont is a famous actor of the 30s movies".

That would actually make a lot of sense and could easily be used to fit into the Castlevania continuity, with one of the Belmonts deciding to pursue a life of acting while the Morris family was entrusted with the Vampire Killer. It would also explain the cliche plot of "Save the love interest," which doesn't really fit in with the standard Castlevania plot (Rondo of Blood not withstanding, as others were taken too, and Rondo's 90's anime style meant they were probably trying to appeal to a somewhat younger audience anyways.)

Half of it, he did, The first part from 0:00 - 0:51: was just from the original game. The rest was from Aria of Sorrow (with a Heart of Fire remix taken from the original Castlevania). It goes into a loop afterwards.

+WaxingName This game used a YM3812 and a wavetable chip to produce its music from what I understand. Basically, like an old Soundblaster card. In theory, you could reproduce the FM synth and pull the wavetable data if you really wanted to. I think there's actually a tool to do the first that would work on a ROM.

@@HaveYouTriedGuillotines The wavetable chip in question is the Konami SCC sound chip, which was commonly used in Konami's MSX games. And the sound chip being used for the PCM samples is the K007232 , which is a 2 channel PCM sound chip used in many of Konami's arcade games!
