With the new generation of Egr, you can t take out the top screw of alternator, at some models of F10. You must take out tge egr

If you remove the tensioner wheel, I think you can just about get at it with an e12 Torx.

Hey, have a problem with my alternator(brushes and relay)bmwE46318i. I’ve open it and the code is Bosch F 00M 145 285(100-110€) way too much !:))))) and then I’ve see substitute relays they have an other code(F00M145262 Bosch F00M145312 Bosch F00M145655 Bosch F00M145880 Bosch F00M485289 Bosch F00MA45221 Bosch)but look the same,same voltage, but different prices :)))60€, 30€…. Can u tell me if I can replace the relay with a substitute one or an aftermarket one ? Ty in advance, great video btw !
