I've got to admit - when I saw the title, my initial reaction was a heavy, soul-weary sigh. I am very much single, and when I see married Christian couples talking about singleness, I often feel called out. As if the underlying message is: "Hey! You don't get to feel sad or disheartened! You don't get to feel sorry for yourself! ... Be grateful! Use your time! You'll never have as much time as now! Do this, go there, develop your skills, pray, pray, pray, serve, serve, serve...!" There is truth and value to these pieces of advice. However, they also put a lot of pressure on us singles. "Use your time, don't waste it! ... The clock is ticking. Your future spouse might be right around the corner and you're so far from being ready..." As I type, I understand these to be Enemy's lies - but they do sound quite convincing on bad days. So I am thankful that you approached this topic just the way you did - educational and concrete - giving me things I can put into everyday practice without feeling overburdened. :) Thank you.

This is an excellent video that I have never heard explained and talked about before for what a woman needs. But this is also spot on for what men need to stay loyal and in the relationship. “A wise woman builds up her house with her own hands, but a foolish one tears hers down with her own hands.” Proverbs 14:1 This is the first time I heard security explained in such a clear and Biblical way that it brings such comfort and clarity to my mind aside from it only being explained as “money, job, physical protection, etc.” For a woman’s number 2 need, I usually like to listen to others in order to come to a place of understanding before I offer my take and thoughts since I am introverted. The communication aspect of things with a woman as need number 3 I would need to find someone first to be with since I am usually just used to no one asking me about or for anything since I live alone. 😅 For a woman’s number 4 need for leadership it falls heavily on the gifts of knowledge, wisdom, discernment of spirits, teaching and spending time with Scriptures, prayer, etc.

Yeah I found out I have not had much respect for men after finding my dad cheating on my mom.. sooo so true that definitely affects how you treat your man and how you deal with them.. Great point…

Good question! When Matej pursued me, I followed his leading for how quickly things were progressing and when he communicated his feelings and intentions towards me I reciprocated. I also followed the leading of the Holy Spirit and I had peace to do so.
