"Submission" has become such a loaded word, open to (mis)interpretation. I would appreciate it if you made a video about that - what marital submission (and leadership!) entails in the eyes of the Lord. I guess that modern society confounds humility with humiliation. I've just googled meaning of 'humility' and the definitions that came up were: "having modest or low opinion of one's importance" and "low self-regard and sense of unworthiness". That can't be right! As a good Christian, I've tried practicing that sort of 'humility' all my life - putting others ahead of myself - and it led me to depression, self-loathing and being mildly suicidal. Hardly the fruits of the Spirit. :) When I look back, I believe God had been showing me that He interpreted the word differently, all along. :) Nowadays, I believe that 'humility' revolves around being realistic - being aware of one's strengths and weaknesses both. Not thinking yourself above others because of the former and not getting butthurt when somebody else points out the latter. :) Not a quality we can attain on our own, without God's help. Both men and women are (rightfully) afraid of being humiliated, of being taken advantage of... And the Devil is 'diabolos', one who divides in order to conquer. All of us should strive, pray for more humility. God help us.

Trying to find a woman at church is becoming impossible, then you have these girls/ women coming back, or to the church for the first time after they have run through 2 dozen guys in their early 20’s, and then they want to be tradwives. On the opposite end you have these homeschooled cloistered girls at church that have never dated much less talked to guy (other than maybe a brother or their dad?) You approach and talk to them, and you get the impression they’re interested, so you ask them out , they freak- out, so they avoid you after that( like you killed their cat or something?), I'm done - They had a singles night at church - and not one guy showed up - I don't blame them.

So basically find a woman whose silimar to Kayla in terms of character, haha 😄 But in all seriousness, I truly appreciate you both showing us what type of wife to look out for and what makes one Godly versus simply just being a Christian. This video is beyond helpful to me as a single man. A lot of this really does come down to one attitude and character.
