Perhaps rishikesh area / uttrakhand in india. There you can ask around and will probably find one.

Or ramana maharshi. Or even better. Go within. Be with yourself/since you are the guru. Be quiet. And be still, literally. Stop everything you are doing. Stop all your thinking and just be. Do this often. Every hour whenever you have time. Just be. Being with yourself until you feel like yourself again. Then you are the guru.

1) The Guru may not worship , because he has realised the God is within. 2) When you meet the realised Guru face to face ,You will start experiencing peace. 3) Sometimes, you will make instant connection with the Guru if you have connection with him in your previous births. 4) A realised Guru may or may not be a scholar. 5) Don't judge a Guru with his external behaviours. Check if he is imparting true knowledge and wisdom. 6)You might have to stay with the Guru few months or years to really understand. 7) Is your perception towards Materialistic world becoming more Positive after doing the practices as told by the Guru?. If yes, then you are in the right path.

You will never know who is a realised Guru from outside. The real Guru is inside you, your true nature is your real Guru and you don't need any outside Guru as long as you have faith in your own Self to guide you. Follow the teachings of the wise Sages like Sri Ramana Maharshi, Sri Ramakrishna and Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj ( and such other Sages) as far as possible in real life.
