I've heard those lines before. I was told once that she was 'flattered, but you're too sweet & kind to me." That's one of the reasons why I turned my attention towards Asian Women, particularly Chinese, Japanese, Korean, & Thai Women.

When they tell me that they don't want anything serious I say, oh thank goodness, neither am I, so do you want to hook up at your place or mine? If they tell me that it's not me that it is them, I wholeheartedly agree, and tell them you are so wise to realize what your faults are. If they say that I am too good for them, I say wow, your insight is sooo good, I am so relieved that you realize that. Well, see you later, not!!! It is so refreshing in life to be grumpy; keep up all your grumpyness it is well appreciated.

I agree ...when anyone says to you there not looking for anything serious thats something that should be taken at face value. Occasionally people will say this because there scared and want to move things slow but I think if thats the case they should just say I'm looking to explore all relationship possibilities and just go with the flow. If a woman said to me I'm not looking for anything serious I would just just take it for what it is . I'm not going to try and play any guessing games with her. I want people to be upfront.

Agree with you IF you've already had any "relations", with the person and they say those things. But if you have NEVER physically met or interacted and they say this, it is likely in ernest and are going through some very strenous issues. Seeing you, FEELING they cannot measure up to who you are. The caveat is IF you have never physically met or been togeather THEN they are likely being honest in their own personal depressed self-worth.
