"Don't Worry, Be Happy" is one of Bobby McFerrin's most popular songs. I hope you'll enjoy my original 3-part TBB a cappella arrangement of this little gem.
"Don't Worry Be Happy" was the first a cappella song to reach number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, a position it held for two weeks. The Indian mystic Meher Baba often used the expression "Don't worry, be happy" when cabling his followers in the West, and the expression was printed on inspirational cards and posters during the 1960s. In 1988, McFerrin noticed a similar poster in the apartment of jazz duo Tuck & Patti in San Francisco, and he was inspired by the expression's charm and simplicity. He wrote the song that was included in the soundtrack of the movie Cocktail and became a hit single the next year. At the 1989 Grammy Awards, "Don't Worry, Be Happy" won the awards for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

I LOVE Bobby McFerrin! It's driven me nuts my whole life how so many people misattribute this song. Anyone who's unfamiliar with him should absolutely look him up, he's called the One-Man Voicestra for good reason! His album Circlesongs was one I grew up listening to all the time, and I think it contributed a lot to my comfort with unusual rhythms and creative/tricky songs in general. Absolutely love your arrangements and production, and this one is as lovely as ever! Thanks for all your hard work!

I've left it on loop for hours sometimes, it's wonderful focus music (or at least it is when I'm doing a task where I can also be singing and grooving along with it since I know it too well haha)

This channel has close to 160,000 subscribers, but view count doesn't reflect it at all. I guess there's too much competition for content these days. That's why it's important folks interact (like / comment / share) with content they enjoy, just to avoid going under the radar altogether.

I got a call today that I've been waiting on for months. It wasn't good news or technically bad. But then I called my sister and told her what was going on after hearing I could possibly face jail after the system failed me.
