I’m sorry for those of you that commented you didn’t have a loving Mother. My 87 Yr old Mother just passed away January 26, 2024. I’m broken. I will miss her the rest of my life. She was loved so very much. My daughter’s daughter wrote a speech and read it at her service. We had grandchildren, great grand daughter and 4 daughters speak. My Mother would have been very pleased. She had dementia. That’s such a terrible disease. She kept falling. My hearts broken 😞. She was such a good and loving Mother. I’ve been blessed.

My mum was killed when I was 7. My stepmom couldn't relate to us as little beings who need love, encouragement and physical touch (in her defense, she was young and took on too much to be able to deal with another woman's children), so life was harsh without someone rooting for us. But I love Michael Bublé's song "Mother". There aren't a whole lotta songs (especially these days) singing the praises of mothers, so I'm glad he wrote this. And I'm truly happy for everyone who ever had a loving mom. And I hope all those who were neglected or abused found someone in their lives to love them.❤ Bublé is such a talent!! Great voice!!!

I have had to help my father through it all because I promised my mom I would & he is loosing his sight. But it is breaking me. People don't realize just how much needs to be done after as well and how hard it is. My father has stood back, so I've had to deal with it all alone. My partner told her when we left the evening before and I was pottering around, that he will take care of me no matter what and she can let go now we will be alright. Mr. Buble, you are literally my favorite artist of all time. Haha your songs are my karaoke staples. I found out my mom was diagnosed with ALS in 2020 while battling a strong addiction to methamphetamine. On January 1st 2021 I told her the truth and promised her I would get sober. I went to treatment, but didn't give my sobriety my full attention because I was more worried about her. I lost her in July and it killed me that I wasn't able to stay sober before she passed. I went into a deep depression and even attempted suicide, but luckily I am still alive and decided I would go to rehab again in February this year. I graduated yesterday and tomorrow I will be 50 days clean. I had been excited to hear your new album for three months. I never imagined when I would finally get to listen to it I would hear such a beautiful song like this one. I feel like it was a gift to me for keeping my promise to her. Thank you so very much. I hope to see you in concert very soon.

There's no words that I can send you that'll take that tragic day! I pray that she visits you at times & may you keep going & never give up. The pain, heartache, memories, endurance, trauma & so much will never go away! But, the saddest thing is that all the feelings you have are all rolled up into one! The pain of watching her & you felt hopeless & also the pain of you never seeing, hearing or feeling her touch! My mother passed April 28 last year. I can’t tell whether listening to this song brings me comfort or sinks me further into sorrow, but I can’t help listening to it many times a day, or once a couple weeks, depending on my mood, I suppose. No matter the mood, though, it never fails to get me every time. I am still not able to sing the chorus without my voice breaking, tears streaming down my face. I think the day I can sing along the whole song without crying is the day I finally make peace with the biggest trauma in my life.

I'm so very sorry sweethearts. There is, nor will there ever be, anything like losing a mother. Your best friend and biggest promoter--in so many families. I'm 57 and lost my gorgeous, force-of-nature, role model, and beloved, Mommy March 2024. She was a young 76--- and was dealt with an aggressive cancer blow. Thank you Michael for this beautiful song! 🙏 Everyone take care of your mom as best you can and I am sorry for everyone's loss. I nursed my mother everyday in the hospital until the last moment. I wanted to get mom out of the hospital that week, to recover mom at home with a private nurse and later operate her, when suddenly an unexpected happened in the hospital that could not be reversed, it was too late, I couldn't do anything to save her. She passed away in my arms. It is the worst and most painful feeling of my life. I wish I could go back to save you in time. My heart is so broken, I have never missed someone so much! I will never forget the last time I hug you! You are constantly on my mind every minute. I miss you, you are with me as long as I live. You live in me forever, I love you Mom! ❤
