The key is you don't scold them unnecessarily. Like Kiki got blush instead of lipstick. And the mother didn't scold her for doing so. Not offending anyone, but if it were to be a typical Indian house, what could be the scenario. "Are Kiki you are just wasting tym. Chalo mje ready hone do. Ab 2 maar khaoge. Chup chap se ja k Beth jao. Waise h late hori or ye lipstick k jagha blush la Rahi sab mix up kr degi and so and so." Instead of that she is being polite and appreciating her daughter for her efforts even though she got blush. She actually applied it and said thank you to her daughter. And see how kiki handed the bra to her mother. Some people choose to hide these things from kids and if touched are scolded so bad "ye gandi baat h. Ise nahi uthate etc". You know what I mean. These small things make a hell of a lot of difference in the upbringing of kids. And when mistakes are done parents should actually make them understand the difference between right and wrong in a polite way. Children are bound to make mistakes and do many wrongs. That's what children are meant to do.
