Its sad to admit, but I only got into Xenoblade Chronicles around the time the Wii U phased out, so I never got the chance to play this. I'll be correcting that mistake in five months. On an unrelated note, it took me thirty seconds to realize this was composed by Hiroyuki Sawano without looking at the description. I recognize those techno beats anywhere!

I never beat this game and while I still own it my dog chewed up my gamepad controller which effectively bricks your console if you don't replace it, and with them officially shutting down all servers and the store for the Wii U I had no real reason to replace it. So I'm glad they are re-releasing this.

I'm still here, hoping. XCX is a great game, and for me, it made the Wii U worth having. But what I'd give for it to be on Switch, or better yet, the PC. Let it out, where more people can appreciate this strange, colourful world, this stirring soundtrack, and the progression from on foot, to mech, to the skies. Let me go back. EDIT 2024: Turns out praying for tomorrow worked. Let's go back and see the world again with fresh eyes.
