I will never forget the first time I waited long enough on this menu to actually hear the vocals kick in. I had no idea it even had lyrics and just sat there in awe listening to what has since become one of my favorite vocal tracks in any video game. EDIT: I… I didn’t realize this song was gonna get taken down along with Wii U online… If I’d known, I would have booted up the game one last time just to listen to it :(

I met Aimee Blackshleger at a convention once. I thanked her for the great vocal work she dit for Xenoblade X and she was all confused because nobody had ever mentioned her work on that game to her before. Since Hiroyuki Sawano is mostly prolific in anime composition and she sings on many of his songs, she's mostly used to be credited for anime work.
