I can't believe you got through those trees at 3:05. I shoulder-checked it so hard once on a night ride

Ouch! yeah it's a tight squeeze for sure and once you make it you're rewarded with a brutal steep climb lol

Excellent sounding hubs, which ones are they?

These are the i9 hydra hubs. Love the engagement! Sound varies based on how much grease you put in. When I rebuild the wheels they are silent and slowly get louder.

Do you ride Dr Quads south to north?? Never though of trying it that way. I rode these for the first time a few weeks back. Such great old school fun. You can tell they are old because it was hard to get through with wide bars!

In present day I will usually ride it north to south after finishing Motown. Back in the day however, people would ride it out and back south to north as Motown did not exist and kitchen sink was less established. I like the old school vibe of it but think it could use some updates to help bring in some modern day flow.

@@AdventureTrailsTO Agreed. Dr. Quads needs a lot of work. I was blown away by what good shape Kitchen Sink and the offshoots were in as I had heard they were rarely ridden. Someone has done some great work in there.

I wish you and the rest of the youtubers who post Don Valley rides would show where the trailhead is so the viewers know how and where to access these trails. Everyone starts their vids when they are already on the trails. Extremely frustrating.

Thanks for the feedback. I think platforms like Trailforks or strava are sufficient for navigating around trail networks.

Those apps require subscriptions to be useful. Anyway, just a gripe of mine. Nothing personal. I appreciate the vids otherwise@@AdventureTrailsTO

That's awesome, I was always looping Boomerang, Dr Quads and Motown, but now will explore further. Is it better in to ride in one direction than the other? Cheers.

Personally, I would recommend riding it northbound, there are fewer big climbs and then you can easily link with trash panda via side streets after moccasin trail park.

Yeah I agree with @5bev e, and would rather ride it northbound. More flow and less climbs with the option to link it up to Trash Panda after.

Awesome! can't believe how fast you took some of that stuff. and how do you squeeze under that leaning tree? i'm not even close to getting through there.

Yes, it's a tight squeeze! I just take an extra moment to square up and make sure i'm in the right gear.
