Whoever has been in charge of casting the last 5 or so years since Bill and Andy left has been shit, I think it was shit a couple years before they came on too, hard to remember that far back. Donald used to be part of Derrek Comedy and that shit was actually better than SNL, it was just a web series though. You either need to be famous, which is why he is hosting now, or you need connections, and I guess he didn't have connections.

Phil, I'm also extremely white and British, but Atlanta is amazing (it's an offbeat comedy show about a rapper and his homeless cousin who produces him). Don't have to be black to appreciate really clever humour. It helps to be British though ;)

It’s really great to see Donald coming out of his shell more. He has a brilliant artistic mind and it seems like he’s been much more extroverted with it recently, compared to the mysterious announcement of the PHAROS festival followed by the sudden release of “Awaken, my love!” And his very humble attitude with respect to the success of Atlanta. I can’t wait to see what he does next.
