There is still freedom of speech in America however, you still don't want to talk trash about the police if they can easily dig something up on you. There are still plenty of judges that try to gag people, and yes, there are gag orders that they have placed on companies to have them not talk about certain investigations. The real issue here in the U.S. is qualified immunity and people who have authority either are never or barely getting punished for making blatantly false interpretations of the law. However sovereign/qualified immunity exists almost everywhere. The founding fathers couldn't openly talk about them overthrowing the British government in 1776, and our founding fathers clearly would have gotten the death penalty if they were caught during or before the revolution. There is no absolute freedom of speech anywhere.

If I had failed my appeal they would have held everything I've made in the last month and they would have made me wait 90 days to appeal, which is definitely not timely. I don't think the executive order can mandate the bringing back of the dislike count sadly, however, his executive order applies to the actions of federal government employees, there will be instant action but if you are not watching political content, this will not affect your viewing experience mostly.

Creator monetization on videos should be removed or at the very least significantly reduced. The site should go back to what it used to be, people making videos because they are passionate about something or have something they genuinely want to say. Some KZbinrs also have banned words lists that auto delete things, so for instance if someone was trying to get political, it would delete any comment or message in chat that mentioned certain people or anythign like that to avoid arguments and spread of propaganda. I think platforms shouldn't be allowed to censor speech, but I feel like individuals should be allowed to curate their own spaces. Some people just want to keep their comment sections light and fun, and provide an escape from that for a little bit for their audience. It isn't always malicious.

The think of the kids argument is a moral panic fallacy aimed primarily towards appealing to religious lobbyists who want to restrict pornography and anything remotely gay from being allowed in public. The real reason why KZbin did all of this was due to pressure from advertisers who want to directly command the content they advertise or otherwise ensure it is friendly to their brand. It doesn't help TV content is often far more provocative than independent creators and often exceeded what was originally acceptable when KZbin was paying people for their videos. South Park had genuine nudity and even content which would get themselves banned on KZbin, but since they are a corporation, they violate the norm.

People constantly are pushing out videos on Trump, my video had a 4-5 minute average view retention, which really sucks for a 13 minute video. I am competing against tons of Trump videos per hour. Sadly I have put a lot of work into this video. Tons of people watch videos on KZbin about Trump, and tons of people like KZbin, so this video hits a perfect sweet spot. The magenta video originally struggled to get 3000 views it's first 12 hours. As implied in this video, some people have priority for their videos on politics. I have edited this video immensely and other than changing the title or thumbnail at this point, I'll have to let the algorithm find the exact people interested in this.

Honestly, I don't like Trump, but this is a welcome change, if it DOES happen. This is why I'm not on either side, I just take individual plans and ideologies that I think are good, and lay those out as my political views. This happened to be something I think America needs. I'm in the UK, where we have the general data protection act, and it's amazing to have. I honestly think America could benefit from having something similar, even if it comes at a potential price of uhhh...other stuff Trump might want to do...
