Putting 60% tarrif on Chinese products doesn't sum up to increase in Indian exports because India is still unable to exploit the labour-intensive and skill-based manufacturing yield. The % of workforce in India in manufacturing is still below 16% whereas in Vietnam, BDesh, etc. it's >20%. Solution: We need to prepare & train millions of young work force equipped with skill & deploy them in manufacturing ASAP.

@@KaushikSarkar-uo2lt Bhai, I don't wanna sound like anti-India just because I criticise the current Indian situation but addressing our lacunae is essential to improve ourselves. The 21% trained % of workforce in India is 4.5% for formally trained & 16.5% for informally trained. The turn-around time for shipment in Vietnam is ½ of that of India. The time required for NOC clearance for establishing even a small production unit in India is 2-5 years. The land acquisition procedure in India is so infamous that companies quit in frustration.( Eg: POSCO of S.Korea) 43% of workforce involved in Agri brings about only 18% in GDP. We need to shift a major chunk of it into secondary & tertiary sectors where skills-trainings are indispensable.

I enjoyed the video, but I noticed a few assumptions that may not be accurate. 1. Just because an industry in China faces losses doesn’t necessarily mean an industry in India will gain. Other competitors worldwide are just as eager to capture that market share. 2. For software engineers, it’s not a given that skilled professionals with foreign work experience will stay in India for lower salaries. Many of them may still prefer opportunities abroad, especially if compensation is significantly higher elsewhere. 3. If Indian industries grow increasingly reliant on the American market, it could give the U.S. government more leverage over India. This dependency might make India vulnerable in bilateral relations, with the U.S. potentially adopting a more dominant stance. 4. Trump's policies tend to be pro-dollar and generally more lenient toward Russia compared to Democrats. This approach could hinder BRICS' initiatives to establish alternative payment systems to counter the dollar, as each member country in BRICS will prioritize its own best interests.

Justin is already scared that trump won 😂. 3. Will not provide millllitaarry aide to parkissstan ($625 million every year). He is peace oriented and has integrity. He doesn’t do backdoor deals with them. 4. With respect to EV, US is an extremely large country and practically EVs are not ideal for long distances. So that’s his main concerns about EV. And I believe the statements he made were more related to trucks. EV can’t pull heavy loads. 5. His stand is mainly against “illegal” immigrants. As we go on legal visas, it might not be a big problem. 6. He might go easy on us cause he needs our support to tackle China. 7. By nature, he is a genuine person with integrity. I started my first job in 1985 and a few years later, I set the goal to have $1 million saved by the time I retired. I'm 3 years from retirement and hit that goal last year, but I now know I should have moved that goal post further out to $1.5 million or more. I remember as a kid thinking millionaires were these people who lived like demi-gods among all us serfs. Now I am one and still don't feel any different from a serf.

You get used to it. lam a net worth seven figure guy for 6 years now. Actually had seven figures in all retirement accounts as of 2020. Had seven figures in just one account this year. I still drive the same car I bought 23 years ago. Everyone who sees me thinks I'm the poorest of the poor because I don't even wear a watch or "dress to impress" now.

Sorry to burst your bubble but $1M in 1985 is equivalent to $2.9M today. You are still doing well but it demonstrates the reality of inflation. If you live 20 years in retirement odds are you will need 2X as mcuh per year as compared to the when starting retirement

@@ColoGamerproI’m not naive about my $1 million bubble; I know it’s not what it used to be. That’s why I say I wish I had focused more on the future early in my career. It’s amusing that my investments rank me in the top 3% of savers, yet I still feel nervous about what’s ahead. To make things worse, I decided 30 years ago to forgo a defined pension, which would have put me in a much better spot now. But I get that it’s really about managing my expenses, and I’m sure I can make that work.

If the Russian oil gets back to global market, will it not affect India as they are sold as discounted rate?
@jishnuadhikari52342 ай бұрын
He is more likely to increase tariffs against India, than allowing russian oils back in the market. US oil companies have made huge profits in the last 3 years due to the war.

You are completely wrong about China - hate. He doesn't "hate" China, he "hates" imports as a whole in terms of trade be it with China, Europe etc. China is focused so much because it alone accounts for 40+% of overall trade deficit. Last Trump presidency was trade wars with everyone EU, China etc. He even forced India on Harley Davidson bikes.
