Jonathan Pie is the comedy sensation who satirises the world of politics and the media. A frustrated news journalist best known for venting his spleen in unguarded “off-camera” rants which have garnered him millions of fans worldwide, this satirical character’s second live show sees him attacking both sides of the political divide.

I don't actually think they would massively disagree with one another on many things. Fundamentally they both come from a place of balance and middle ground, sniping at extremes on all sides. Pie vs far left/far right (makes no difference - two halves of the same ludicrous circle) commentators would be far more entertaining.

See, I don't think Pie or Tom Walker himself is a liberal in the modern sense. He's a libertarian definitely, an exasperated one who finds idiocy on all sides. When you look at his work in its entirety he is far from a bleeding hearts lefty and obviously a million miles from the right. He, like most people, sits in the middle, head in hands wishing the bullshit would just end. So his disdain for Trump shouldn't be seen as flag waving for the ultra left, most sensibly minded people have disdain for Trump but also understand how he came to be.
