The look from dude's friend when he said he voted for Trump. 🤣😂😅 Anyways I have an issue with anyone who only talks to you when he wants to sell you something. Kanye does the same thing as you the other guy. Sneakercon is not about the sneaker community they are about money so I think it was fitting for him to be there to peddle something to hypebeasts who need to be told what to like rather than rocking what they genuinely like. The only thing that upsets me about this whole thing is the fact that the dude from the DNA show was in the mix once again "for the bag". I love your channel and how you use your platform fam. Keep up the good work.

You may not want politics involved in sneakers but I can promise you politics has always been involved in sneakers..it’s literally the way they get shipped in from other countries. There’s no escaping it also it’s super unoriginal to say “I’m not with either party… it’s the equivalent of saying “I’m not like other girls” most people aren’t technically in either party and most people don’t even vote…whatever your views are, they side with one of the two major national parties more than another.. and besides all the other parties are even worse than the major parties if they can’t even organization enough to beat the parties most people already don’t like

Pretty much everything is imported into america. So technically, this comment applies to a majority of goods, BUT this wasn't a nike or adidas business meeting about the importing and exporting of goods. This was SneakerCon, who markets itself as a convention for the love of sneakers. It is not a convention to push political ideologies. The next time i drive my honda, im not going to think about politics, and i hope you dont either.

@@ReedMySole the sneakers people love are made in other countries (generally) and the taxes, fees, permits, labor law enforcement are connected to any product we have or love..that’s just reality. I think we’d be better off if we admitted that.. instead of acting like there’s a forcefield between our hobbies and politics. And yes it makes sense to think about politics and your car, sometimes what political people do impacts safety on the road or if my spare parts are made by child labor. Not pushing an ideology or telling people who to vote for here, just saying no one should be surprised when stuff like this happens cus that’s how the world is generally unless someone/a group with power enforces it a differently Also commenting to boost engagement on the channel

@rjthomas7091 as a person who likes politics, i will admit i do think about it often, and will agree with some of your statement. In todays times, it's hard to focus on politics and policies because of people like trump and his supporters making it about everything else besides the truth. Politicians do not create policies. Corporations do. So when i try to escape the truth and buy sneakers to get my little hit of dopamine, i dont want a person like trump or any other selected.... excuse me....elected official being involved. Thank you for the comment. It is appreciated. It made me rethink my truth instead of being defensive.

And I def agree it’s mad annoying when you want to do a thing for fun for just a moment to avoid the stress of things, but then something else that brings you down bust in like the Kool-aid man right when you wanted a break. Keep the faith though, better days are always possible!
