Today a coworker told me that he's worried that Trump will force his daughters to remove their IUD birth control implants. I said that it will never happen. According to him, he heard Trump say that he's taking away all forms of birth control. I am trans myself and I'm sorry but this is not true. He might not achieve all he wants to achieve but some of the claims he has made are : that he wanna remove fundings on hoepitals that providen gender reaffirmation care. He also wants to make acces to hormones much harder than it already was making that a lot more people that were fine before in pur comunity will now have to Do it themselves as we like to say. I have also never really understood that anti woke on youth thing. There are for sure some stuff that are comical and a little over the reasonable but they are usualy extrapolated to cover the real picture such as that non binary cow that was out there a while ago. But there is a diference between being supportive and endoctrinating. Being queer has a lot of stigma in a big part of society often in your own family. So having a place to refer to that actualy treats everyone the same and can remind you that you are not fundamentaly wrong is good. Also hormonal care is defenitely reversible on young children as they will be treated with only puberty blockers before actualy realising hormonal medication later on. And tbh it has never been. "Gimme those meds', "ok there you go" there is an actual doctor that makes sure that you could indeed have use for them. There is also a positive correlation in gender reaffirmation and suicide

Electoral college votes do not showcase the major population and in fact rewards smaller states a disproportionate prowess in voting power...which is a bit unfair in today's system favoring usually one party over another (note I am an independent). The popular vote is in fact more accurate, which honestly they should go by and undo the unfair voting power, the results of election showcase it's fine to do so. Or they move to a more population density in terms of electoral college votes per state (as why wouldn't the state with more people but less land get more votes [changes would affect them the most]. Regardless, the current electoral college system is very archaic in nature and brings people to draw wrong conclusions.
