To anyone who's a bit concerned regarding this doctor's technique of taking rib cartilage, understand that his method actually sounds more better than using ear cartilage. Why? Because if you're not having constant pressure or full on contact on rib, then you shouldn't really feel any discomfort in your ribs after the rhinoplasty procedure. Your ear cartilage, on the other hand, puts you in a predicament due to the fact that if you sleep on your side, your ear is going to hurt like bloody hell if you end up putting pressure against it whilst sleeping. After getting 3 Adnoidectomies, one septoplasty, and one rhinoplasty, I would recommend anyone to at least consider consulting Dr. Yoo. Also make sure if you're going to get nose surgery then please always stay in well ventilated environments with clean air free from allergens or pollutants, otherwise your recovery is going to feel extremely uncomfortable because the inner lining of your nose can become more sensitive to air pollution is and dust.

Rin actually I would definitely consider rhinoplasty if I had the money. How I think is not “I’m going to try to get a white persons nose” rather, “hey my nose is so wide, I want to slim it down a bit” if people want to misconstrue that into thinking I hate my race and want to look Caucasian, that’s their misunderstanding 🤷🏻‍♀️ When in reality, I actually think Asian girls are far prettier than Caucasian girls. Correct me if I’m wrong. The results are nice, but the cartilage will not fuse together unlike what ppl tend to believe. Rather it should create scar tissue to give that firm hold. Also two inch of rib cartilage is not a little. Could she have opted for ear cartilage.

Hi Roger Moore Rib cartilage is necessary when a significant amount of projection/definition is desired. In this patient's case, ear cartilage would not have created as significant a change. Cartilage from the rib will in integrate with the existing cartilage in the nose, and remain a viable, living part of the nose. Warm regards
