Plus, after Versace’s death his wishes were not honoured in the least. Did you know that his partner of 15 years, Antonio was deprived of his heritage? He was kicked out of the home where they shared a life, and got nothing. Versace became who he was partly because he was LOVED. But his sister completely ignored that.

I think what she has done and how she honors her brother is absolutely moving!! No one really talks about young adult sibling death. There are little to no books on the subject. Just books on children's siblings and older OLDER adult siblings. I lost my sister when she was 35 and I, 34... it was a very long grieving period, and I am sure she still has days that are tremendously hard. My heart goes out to her, as she is so very brave in carrying on her brother's legacy.

I am trying to create a strength within myself that transcends so many things that we all put so much heavy emphasis on… I could lose it tomorrow what would I do? I don't know of anybody will read these comments to her but I'm so grateful for her allowing herself to be vulnerable to us because I didn't think powerful people like her felt like regular people do when we experience the loss or I never thought that she would feel insecure about anything but it just makes me realize geniuses suffer just like everybody else and I admire her courage to stop doing drugs and to be a mother and to keep on going because we need her I just wish that I wish she would make clothes for plus size women we want to look beautiful too but it's just always seems like only the skinny women get those beautiful styles oh well
