You're hands down the most entertaining music reactor out there. You're simultaneously helping me analyse some aspects of a song I've looked over whilst also making me cry from laughter at insane you are. Please never change Mercurial, you're amazing
@murrayer54263 жыл бұрын
Around 7:15 when you said "It's hard to take a multi billionaire seriously when he's feeling sorry for himself in his $60m home" I think that's exactly the point of that part of the song. Kanye is saying that he is dealing with so many problems and issues but if he talks about them he's called a whiny rich asshole and told to shut up, but he understands why people say that because he would have said the same thing when he was struggling at the beginning of his career. Best reactor on the internet, love your videos.
@mercurialno63 жыл бұрын
I could probably do an hour long video on this one point. It all boils down to people only really being able to write about their own experience. If that experience happens to be "being a billionaire" - then so be it. It was a similar thing with Mike Skinner's "The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living". The problem can be when someone 'preaches' from a dicey position (eg Lennon's 'Imagine'). Ha ha! Like I say... would make an interesting discussion. Does Kanye understand 'humility'? Essay paper. Discuss. :-)
