Your videos are a great accompaniment to tea brewing, therefore I like these long. It could last even 3 hours 😊 Sometimes I pick a tea similar to what you brew and then observe the similarities and differences. It is super enjoyable.

Regarding your question about the competitions: How I know it sometimes works at least for Yancha: Any producer can submit however many teas they want. However every submition has to be paid. Like a submission fee of let‘s say 2000 $ and then every tea sample can take place in the „competition“. However how these competitions work is not like „tea a“ was the best tea so it wins the first price, „tea b“ was the second best so it wins the second price,….. It works like „tea a“ got 96 of 100 points so that would be a first price, „tea b“ got 89 of 100 points so that means second price and „tea c“ got 91 of 100 points so that means first price. It works like that in wine competitions as well

It’s a wild feeling, when you work in the tea industry. Often times there is far more tea to sample and sort through than anyone could reasonably endure drinking regularly haha. Gotta save your caffeine tolerance for the good stuff 😅
