But what interesting is, aeshin always remember what little dongmae said about her and it's like she want to proof to herself that she's not a weak-noble-girl like dongmae said. That's why the couple of end episodes when aeshin said for the last time to him that she always remember that time, dongmae feel a little bit happy. Because of what he did, eventough sounds rude to little aeshin, he had been remembered by aeshin for a long time.

I am truly rooting for Goo Dong Mae since the very first episode. Dong Mae loved Ae Shin the hardest and longest. He even fucking returned to Joseon just to be with Ae Shin. Although not profound, Dong Mae had always been beside Ae Shin. He was only waiting for the perfect moment to confess his feelings. He mentioned it to Eugene in the Glory Hotel, wherein Eugene cut through the line (men) approaching Ae Shin. He said he was not even given a chance of confessing and showing his pure intensions... love. The intensity of their gazes, and their chemistry is truly breathtaking. I know they will never be together, but it breaks my heart knowing Dong Mae poured his love and soul to Ae Shin just be crushed and not given a chance of showing his true feelings to the love of his life.

There were some complaining about how all 3 men sacrificed their lives for lady Ae Shin and were bitter about it. They must've have forgotten that all 3 of them were saved and helped by Ae Shin at some point of their lives. Dong Mae was saved when he was a child, Hui Seong was saved from a gunshot with Ae Shin shooting the enemies in the rooftop and she also helped Eugene at some point. She may have never romantically/physically been involve with them but you know she cares and consider them her comrade and special people. She even cared for Dong Mae when he was bleeding even when she felt bitter about what Dong Mae said to her that was etched and hurt her since childhood. Her love for her country and strong resolve and bravery is what made the 3 men fall for her. She was no ordinary woman. Even I would want to sacrifice myself for such kind of person.

What a beautiful job!!! I cried several times for being a very well-made and beautiful story. Really a kdrama that can't be missed. It was really breathtaking. This one is definitely a MUST watch. One word to describe everything about this kdrama is badass💯 Its like sitting down for 4-courses meal but receiving 10-courses that were delicious and satisfying far beyond expectations. One of the most kdrama i've seen. This kdrama left the pains in my chest. Im in love with the storyline, the actors, chemistry, realistic, emotions, beautiful setting, ost... I can feel the pains by their teary eyes and movements. This is masterpiece. Finally all i can say is WOW. Im hooked!!! Thanks to all those who in one way or another achieved something so beautiful. Hui Seong was saved from the gunshot, Dong Mae was also saved by Ae Shin and also she helped Eugene. I think you're just bitter from the fact that all 3 men loved her. Their love for her were all different and understandable. They were all unique. Ae Shin is in fact someone you could love, even I would want to sacrifice myself for such kind of incredible, brave woman who sacrifices her life for her country.

Dong Mae suffered the most and got the least from AeShin. He could not touch her, only the hem of her dress. He could only see her once in a month. Consumed by love for a cruel woman who thought him a villain and never gave him anything to satisfy his deep love for her. I hate AeSin for destroying two noble-hearted and deeply loving men. For what? Lost fight of a handful of rebels? Dong Mae deserved the most of her love. Eugene died in vain, he could have jumped back after dividing the two train cars. I did not cry for him, all my tears were for Dong Mae who had to suffer so much.
