I said that I was motivated by small bonus of each sales commission and because of that I was in top 10 best selling agents in previous job. And I didn't get the offer lol 😅😂

How does this question differ from the question: why do you want the job?

Significant overlap - but what motivates is more broad - for example you might be motivated by making a positive change at work, doing a good job - you may want this specific job because you recognise it’s an area of the business that needs improvement - and that’s something you enjoy.

Yes! Part of the challenge is because the act of succinctly articulating an answer to an interview in “business-speak” feels intimidating and another part of the challenge is because we want to provide a response that is BOTH personal + is relatable (without coming across as “too vulnerable” ex: “when my boss encourages me after I do a good job”)
