We'll never know if sometimes letterman was truly apprehensive at tiems, or was playing up the crowds, in the long run he did a great job bringing Hanna to the show.

Sorry to learn of Jack's Alzheimers illness, a heartbreaker for the family and friends. This seems to be happening more frequently to older people nowdays. These fun appearances on Letterman are a nice way to remember him.

Unfortunately, I believe you're right (about higher frequency of Alzheimer's). My mom has late-stage Alzheimer's, and aside from a handful of other diseases (e.g. ALS, etc.), Alz is the epitome of slow cruelty & slow death. All one can do is to make the person comfortable as possible, and for the most part, my mom has been comfortable, so we're at least thankful for that. I too felt badly when I heard about Jack Hanna's diagnosis of Alz, and unfortunately I know most of his family is having to go through the long, arduous trek insofar as dealing with the disease goes. But, you're also right about HOW entertaining Jack and Dave interacted. They both had an odd (but VERY funny) chemistry with one another. Thank God for KZbin to see these gems.

They think: childhood inoculations,forever chemicals,longtime gut problems ETC. They do believe ( scientists) that sn indication of Parkinson's is when younger persons have sleep disorders. Hopefully,whatever is helping to activate these ailments,THEY will discover. Caregivers deserve all our respect.

It's all the chemicals people expose themselves to, especially in food. Some of the stuff they put in food in America is classed as poison in Europe, and would never be allowed to be used as food additives or preservatives.

The perfect combination of entertainment, learning just a bit more about our world, amazement, humor, surprise, and passion for the animal world. What a great series you've put together. I stumbled across your collection from KZbin's right-hand-side recommendations, and have been enjoying every minute. Thank you for putting this compilation together! Watched Letterman every night in college, but of course forgotten all these specific shows. They're just pure fun. As a wildlife biologist, the importance of someone like Jack Hanna having fun showing animals to the world, with Letterman as a foil, it's just the perfect way to evoke love for the rest of creation. It's SO important to recognize the beauty in every living thing.

Aren't grapes bad for dogs?
@kelseysparrow
@kelseysparrow 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, but we didn't know that back then, and not all dogs seem to have issues. But those that do have problems (I.e. kidney failure) don't seem to have a clear toxic dose. So you could feed 15 grapes to a little dog and it could be fine, and 5 grapes could send a large dog into kidney failure.

Why he loves animals and an aadvocate for them
@nancyhowell4505
@nancyhowell4505 2 жыл бұрын
@@lindsaycrites2789 Maybe because the animals get scared and start struggling hard to get away, sometimes get loose, might cause a panicky person to hurt them, dragging them out of cages or stuffing them back into cages or to put them someplace, falling off of the desk or a perch, getting into wires or electric cords, etc. I've felt sorry and scared for the animals, for fear of injury to them or them getting shot to bring them under control. 😖😥💔
