Date is June 11th 1977. This was opening night for this production of Lucrezia Borgia in Sydney. This exact performance was also broadcast, but this recording was made by someone in house on the same day of the broadcast! (A lady caughs right next to the mic and it sounds like the recorder shakes during applause). Yes, there is another in house recording (28th) and of course, the filmed performance.The cast here is in great voice!
I've greatly improved the sound quality. It is much clearer and not so bassy and muffled. No pitch corrections needed fortunately!
