11:24 Really love that part where it's just recreation of death egg robot in sonic mania.

Accurate gameplay recreation for the sake of a joke is up my alley, though I'm surprised how tame it was, I guess it makes it feel more accurate if there aren't changes like "DK explodes when he lands and Pauline is the final boss flying an Arwing"

Huh, never thought I'd see somebody play this thing. I'm glad you enjoyed it, it was one of my favourite things to make. The glitches are there due to some time constrains, so yeah.

I do like how the ending fits into the idea that the tie-wearing Modern DK is the father of DK Jr, and not the naked Cranky Kong.

Okay, the DK3 level was really cool.

I really don’t like how the physics weren’t one to one, but I do like how the ending fits into my theory of Modern DK being the father of DK Jr.

I find it weird that apparently Modern DK is DK Jr.'s son. Like, Cranky as the original DK I can get behind, but Modern DK being the third one, who is the son of DK Jr.? Yeah, that sounds weird to me.

@@SegaMariothe adult DK in this game is DK Jr as a grown up. The DK jr in this game is modern DK as a kid.

@@DamnZtar No, I was saying that, because the DK in this game wore a necktie, which is a suggestion made by Miyamoto when Donkey Kong Country was in it's conceptual stages, and not meant for Grandpa Kong (aka Cranky Kong during development). In fact, Arcade DK never wore a necktie prior to this game. And even if Cranky is the OG Arcade DK, he has a major bias towards modern game development at the time of DKC's release(prior to the Microsoft Rareware Buyout), which we'll be using as counter-evidence, such as game loops, limited animation, unfair gameplay, limited continues, and less-detailed sprites and backgrounds ("We never had movement like this when I was in video games!", "We used to have to survive with a two frame walk!", "The old games were far harder when I was a young 'un!", "3 lives and 3 continues, that's all we had!", and "You know what's even worse? When you get to the end, and then have to start again!"), none of which were present in Donkey Kong '94 by 8-bit standards. Not helping that Arcade DK had 11 sprites for animation (rolling barrels, chest-pounding, ladder climbing, and head injuries), while Game Boy DK had a whopping 76 (which includes all that, plus running, stomps, throws, jumps, pulling switches, recoveries, and reactions), excluding the title screen, game over screen, ending screen, or Giga Kong. And the instruction manual to Mario vs. Donkey Kong on the GBA, a game which was a spiritual successor to Game Boy Donkey Kong, says "Looks like Donkey Kong is up to his old tricks again", implying this is always meant to be Game Boy Donkey Kong. All this contradicts this fan-theory that Game Boy DK is the same Kong as Arcade DK that Cranky claims to be... not helping that Cranky also exclaimed "I say you can't better the graphics, sounds and playability of a Game & Watch!" further insinuating that Cranky is not Game Boy DK, as he would be against the Game & Watch Gallery series in general, which included Modern variants of G&W versions of Donkey Kong, DK Jr, and DK3.

When i played this game it was hard. The hit box and hit detection is terrible. I kept dying on the same stages (except for 9-2) 5 times. 7 if you include game overs. And i managed to glitch it when Mecha Kong flew in the air and came back down. And in 9-8 i kept floating on the platform for some reason
