In some ways, I think the arena for the final boss battles in each game predicted what K. Rool would be in the next game (if we consider that 1 comes before 2, 2 before 3, and 3 before 1). In the first game, he's a king on a pirate ship, in the second, he's a pirate on an advanced flying ship, and in the third, he's a mad scientist in a castle.

I reaslized EXACTLY the same pattern haha. In the first game, he was on a pirate ship, but was not wearing a pirate suit. In the second game, he is on a technological aircraft, but is wearing a pirate suit. In the thirs game, he is on a castle, but is characterized as a scientist/engineer (technology). By this logic, in a 4th game, he would be characterized as a medieval warrior or something like it

Dkc1: king alligator stole your *TASTY BANANAS* and you killed animals and kremlings to get it back. Dkc2: main character got kidnapped by the alligator and the alligator escaped with the high-tech flying ship but your *CHILDREN PUT THEIR LIVES IN FUCKING HUGE DANGER* to save you and destroy the alligator's high-tech ship but the alligator isnt dead but DONKEY KONG LITERALLY GETS OUT OF THE ROPE HE'S TIED IN AND UPPERCUTS THE ALLIGATOR SO HARD THE ALLIGATOR HITS THE HIGH-TECH WINDOWS AND BREAKS AND HE FALLS TO HIS DOOM BEING EATEN ALIVE BY THE KLAPTRAPS IN THE SWAMP. Dkc3: the alligator is mad and he captures dicky kon- i mean diddy kong and donkey kong once again but HE PUTS THEM IN A ROBOT CALLED KAOS (yes its canon) AND BRAINWASHES THEM TO THINK THAT THEY ARE KAOS TO DESTROY DIXIE KONG AND... Oh god dixie kong and a fucking ORPHAN??? But the destroy KAOS'S head. eventually they get to the alligator's castle and rematch with the robot and destroy his head and it only shows his endo-head (fnaf refrence??) and KAOS gets dragged up by a rope or smth like that and when KAOS is destroyed the alligator looks at the kongs and he claims he had a wife and he used all her pots to make KAOS but dixie and kiddy (the orphan) dont care and destroy his jetpack which makes him fall to the electric ground SEVERAL TIMES THAT HE FUCKING DIES. And KAOS cannot hold on any longer to the rope thingy and falls and his stomach gets broken and donkey kong and dicky- i mean diddy kong are freed! And they go back to their island (dk island)

Well, I’ve read somewhere that when Rare was making DKC 3, they were also making either DK 64 or Banjo and Kazooie since it was released near the release of said console. Since the main team worked on the game on the new system and David Wise wasn’t heavily into this soundtrack, DKC 3 is made heavily by Rare’s B-Team.

Gangplank Galleon: Perfect for a final boss, it starts out light and...odd for a final boss but then just a little bit later it becomes perfect! The song is very catchy and enjoyable 9/10 Crocodile cacophony: absolutely perfect for a final boss, no dull moments! Its a favorite 10/10 Big boss Blues: eh, it’s ok...I don’t really get the BWAAAAAAA in the beginning but it’s pretty good until the very last fast part, it just does not go well, it’s s good boss fight song but I wouldn’t see this for a final boss 6/10
