Playing through as a kid, this was one of the songs to instill fear into me. Thr levels aren't exactly forgiving and one wrong move could spell disaster. This and Haunted Chase (absolute bops though ngl)

Truly a classic. I'veprobably commented this before, but I was hyperfixated on this game as a child. I remember sitting on the floor of my room at like 4 years old counting pennies to go and rent it (again). All the background really triggered the imagination, you could imagine what would be there. I think most important though was the complete, and I mean 100% complete, absence of any social component. No online, 2 player mode is possible but I had no siblings, no achievements, nothing. You did it because you wanted to or you didn't. And because it was just me, I either did it myself or the game didn't progress. Period. I figure it out or I cannot move forward. I think this is the most important thing that's been lost in recent times. Like you see those Zelda OoT memes about the water temple... I figured that out when I was like 6 or 7. It's doable, you just need to cindition persistence and instill the "you are the help" mindset. Figure it out, or you cannot progress. Quite an elaborated comment but this ties into several recent thoughts and observations.
