trying to learn this, i've been playing bass for 1 month now. When i play it dosent even sound like the song, sometimes when i play it sounds too high. Tuning makes no sense for me, i've treid on fender tune but i still have no clue. My teacher tuaught me how to use it but now if forgot.

Dude, it literally says to tune down one step: D G C F; D being the thickest string (assuming you're using a four string guitar). Get a tuner if you don't have one

Just to clarify: typically bass guitars are tuned in Standard tuning. Also called E Standard tuning (EADG). This song is tuned in D Standard tuning (DGCF). Which is an octave lower than Standard.

The 2 in the intro is 10 on the B string (beadg tuning). Instead of 023 it's 8,10,11. To transcribe songs to five string bass. Learn octaves, or where the same note is on the neck. The technique I use to find the same note but on a lower string is go to the string above the note and down up the neck six frets. Example: fret 4 on the A string is fret 9 on the E string.
