This is where it's at, Sam! I introduced my finance's family in Taiwan to the DK franchise via this song. Literally, we're in the mountains of Taiwan on a road trip, and when we were in the valley and had signal, I played this at max volume on my phone's speaker. Me, my fiance, her mother, and two nieces danced to this like five gorillas in the forest, mimicking the drumming sounds and simian antics. In the times since then, I'll randomly play this on the Google Home Nest Group in the house, just for shits and giggles 🤭 Thanks as always for your restorations, keeping the dream alive ❤

Imagine the timeline where Rare and Nintendo were still buddies and we would get a proper Donkey Kong Country remaster! Not a full remake, but a remaster. Graphics would still be sprite-based, but rendered in higher resolution. More parallax scrolling planes and... THIS MUSIC! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Imagine if they just used the original 3D renders for everything. Only issue is David Wise composed a lot of the music with the SNES's limitations in mind, so just simply restoring it like this wouldn't be 100% accurate.

I truly don't get it dude... Like... The pre-rendering was a technique to overcome the lack of processing power to do the 3D in real time... And... You want a high res pre-render? When yoi can have have the thing running in real time? It's not like DK was made of handmade drawings to wish such a job today, I'm really confused, even more when we have the Wii and WiiU DK titles who are pretty as fuck, and even have reworks of David Wise songs

Lovely mix! :] As a quick tip- to screen-record the start of a video without the progress bar showing up in your recording, you can simply loop the video, and start recording near the end! That way, the progress bar/any other pop-ups should be gone by the time the video starts again.
