Just so you know, if you don't have Dixie at the end, you have to roll and jump off the tiny rocks while praying to god the whole way.

Sam Ja that's what I came to this video to confirm had to be done.... then I saw he had Dixie lol. The first jump is easy, but I died several times on the second one off the tiny rock, so I thought there may be some way other that a roll jump. That's savage to put at the end of a level with no checkpoints lol.

In every single one of these walkthrough videos, the player uses Dixie. That makes them useless, because if I was good enough at this game to preserve Dixie through the entire level, then I wouldn't need a walkthrough. This also illustrates a major flaw of this game: Dixie is so overpowered that it is always better to use her.

How on earth do you do the jumps off the two fish at the end of the first mine cart session? My jumps don’t seem to be as high, and it always falls short of the second fish :(

​@@stacykoppento be honest, if you got this far, you have beaten Bopopolis where you should have gotten the high jump timing down. But the trick is to release the jump after the first jump and not hold through, and repress jump a bit before hitting the next one

At 0:44 try to follow the banana path first. I can't really tell which works but you need to press the jump button *slightly* before you hit the fish or exactly when you hit the fish and do it for the next fish. [Edit: just remembered you also have to hold the jump button when you bounce.]

​@RhythicManRhythm Yes that is key. Someone in the comments said you only need to push the jump button while you're in the air. NO - you need to push and HOLD the jump button just prior to landing in order to get the higher bounce

@alshorty85 You have to press jump right as you hit the fish, same principle as landing on an enemy to gain greater height.

This level is the perfect example of why the level design in this game is fucking garbage. What the fuck is wrong with a) having a kong barrel at the start of each stage so you don’t have to go ALL the way out, lose all your puzzle pieces, buy a Dixie barrel, restart completely And b) have a fucking midway checkpoint ffs! There isn’t a single person alive who thinks the game is MORE fun because you have to restart the whole level any time you die past the midpoint

Yep, another turd level. After four fucking gimmick piece of shit sections, this level has even more shit to throw in your face, with a fun series of absurd jumps. I can't wait to finish those last two levels, so I can put away this piece of shit of a game and never think of it again.
