Guys, please stop telling Brent that he messed up the game canon. He's aware of the game's canon backstory, but it is indeed a rebrand. Rare created DKC as a rebrand of the DK character. Hell, they wanted Diddy to be a redesign of DK Jr., but Nintendo said no.

Uh, I hate to be THAT GUY, but the DK we play on the Country series is actually DK Jr's son. The original DK became Cranky Kong. That plot was made by Rare on the time they were working on the series and Nintendo adopted it as canon. So, yeah, DK became old and had kids but Mario kept his twenties.

***** Well yes, but that's because my opinion is correct based on more than just personal preference. DKC2 is better than DKC1 in every single way. DKC2 has: -Better level design -Far more stage variety -Better music as Dave Wise somehow worked magic because he is actually a wizard and not a regular human being -Dixie is a far more interesting character than DK in terms of gameplay -The mini games are more varied, better thought out, and ultimately more fun -The game is harder and longer with more secrets -The game even looks slightly better than DKC1 -Better, more interesting bosses There are probably many other things I'm forgetting but those are the main points. DKC2 makes DKC1 feel like a warm up to it. Then they lost almost all of their momentum with the ho-hum DKC3 with the awful baby kong and then the series hit a cliff with DK 64 with characters nobody wanted and the absence of Dixie. Don't get me wrong, DKC1 is a very good game. It's simply bested by its superior sequel.

-Better levels is all a matter of opinion. (Even design) -You got me there. DKC 2's map is much more dynamic. -I prefer DKC's music .-. the sequel's honestly felt a little bland to me. -Mini games were better in DKC 2, but DKC3 reigns supreme in the minigame category. -I beat both in about the same time (yes, completely) -I don't see that lol. They may have fixed small graphic issues but I don't really see "looks better" out of it. -I HATED the bosses in DKC 2. I know DKC's weren't really great, but I LOVED the barrel that shot out multiple enemies. DKC 2 felt kinda bland. A giant sword that swings at you isn't very exciting imo. I did like the K. Rool Boss on DKC 2 better than on 1 just by a smidge, though. DKC 3 is my favorite actually .-. I did grow up with it though, but I love all the enemies and the bosses are amazing. (Kaos ftw.)

My god, this is your best work yet, I'm not a really big fan of the DK series or his music (But this is my favorite tune of them) and the remix is so AWESOME, is the best one you have done since you started this channel. Also, I feel like lately your work has been improving A LOT, in the older videos like the Wily's castle Megaman 2 lyrics video, there were some parts like the guy smiley or the robot masters that, at least for me, didn't feel right... but now, in some works like the Mario Sunshine lyrics video, your lyrics are WAY better, you have rhymes, you have jokes and I feel like it's a part of the song, not if like someone made the lyrics after the song
