There was a special edition for the Ambassador program for the DS (early adopters) that was, in essence, a hack of the NES/Famicom version to include the missing cement factory level, which would pretty much make it the best port over all, at least, the most accurate one.

Coleco had the console rights to Donkey Kong at that point in time and was the publisher for the ColecoVison version as well as the 2600 and Intellivision versions. It was the pack in game for the release of the ColecoVision so they made the other versions not quite as good as they could have been.

Yes, it's a port but I didn't include it because its the same NES version as I have included the GBA port. The NES port was also released on virtual console for the Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS so those are not included as well. And yes IBM version DK Sprite looks ridiculous and a bit like a Zombie 🤣
