would be nice if they did especially to the nintendo side of things somehow...I've never been a big fan of xbox and while I do want to play the re-released banjo games I just can't bring myself to buy a xbox to play them. Kinda sad though that nintendo has all the rights to dk64 yet they don't re-release it....I'd buy that day one...one of the best rare games next to starfox adventures...

When the ties to Banjo were mentioned, I honestly thought they were going to mention that there is actually a track in DK64 that is borrowed for Banjo Tooie. In the giant tent in Witchy World, you can hear music that is featured in DK64 as the Balloon T-Rex is blowing up. This track is usually heard when K. Rool makes an appearance in the game (Or so I seem to remember).

A worker from Nintendo that was helping Rare make those games stated that Donkey Kong 64 was indeed suppose to have a connection to Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie for Stop N Swop such as the Ice Key. The way they would do this was in the cave level from DK64, but they rejected it because it was too hard to do it. Even in testing, however the he stated that its in the game. But its blocked and you can't get through it.

Boy, I didn't know there were going to be Mario characters in "Diddy Kong Pilot." (Shame said game had to be scrapped...) As a kid I always wanted Nintendo to let Rare make a Mario game. Also, one thing that is kinda wrong in the video is, they DID have underwater levels in DKC2, only they took place in sunken ship holds, and weren't outside the ships. So the "Stickerbrush Symphony" track wouldn't of suited them. Glad they got to keep the song though, as it is one of the best DKC themes. (So popular, they even used in SSB Brawl.)

I think you guys should make a part 3 covering stuff from the more recent games since these first two focused a lot on the older DK games. For example in DKC Returns on Wii, Retro confirmed they were going to include more levels similar to the silhouette ones, with one of the levels being based on the Virtual Boy and it's red and black color scheme, but were scrapped for time reasons. A video covering DKC Returns would be good for coinciding with the upcoming Wii U sequel, DKC Tropical Freeze.
