Funny thing is that when this song was released it did sound really weird compared to the pop music back in 2011. Now, almost 2020, if it was released I think it would become a hit since it fits rather well what pop artists publish these days. Happened to land in my spotify 2020 playlist :)

This song existed in Simlish in the game The Sims 3 around 2013 (University Life Expansion Pack) and I already think it's better than most craps that came out on the music scene at the time. Reminds me when I was first introduced to Pet Shop Boys and Erasure (and other Europe electronica musicians) in the 90s. Instant like. This is the first time I listened to its original language though...I already memorized the Simlish one and can't really sing it in English yet. LoL.

Oh my god. I remember someone at my childhood school when I was like, I don't know, 8, showed us this and I was obsessed ever since. But I could never find it again. I never knew the title or who sang it. I just remembered the chours and the video. I got nightmares because of this song, but I loved it so I kept singing it and kept listening when that guy put it on in class. Now, years and years later, I finally found it. I'm so happy! This was a big part of my childhood. It's weird and stupid, but that's how it is. 😂

Donkeyboy is just pure class. You don't hear them as much as other artists in the radio and such, but when you do, you know it's going to be amazing. Sometimes, City Boy and Lost got something I've never heard any other artist come up with. Fantastic music.

I love the meaning of this song... If you don't know; In my opinion, it's about all the rules about how we should be, and how we are supposed to think and act. This song is about us being free people with free will, that's what the "eagle" symbolizes for, since an eagle is free and have power of it's own actions.
