"Born to be wild" by Steppenwolf is the song that goes - "Get your motor runnin'...Head out on the highway...Lookin' for adventure... And whatever comes our way" (released in 1968) ...the ultimate biker song. This Judas Priest video was taken from the concert video "Priest live"... filmed in 1986 on the 'Turbo' album tour dubbed 'Fuel for life tour'... released in 1987... the line-up was: Rob Halford (vocals), Glenn Tipton & K.K. Downing (guitars), Ian Hill (bass) and (the late) Dave Holland (drums)... From the same concert, u can check out - 'The Sentinel' ... 'Turbo lover' ... 'Desert plains' ... 'Love bites'... 🤘🤘🔥🔥 "Priest live" captured the band in their peak in the 80's... Judas Priest is on a US tour in 2024 - Starting Sept. 13... Rob Halford (vocals) and Ian Hill (bass) will be there w/ Scott Travis (drums), Richie Faulkner (guitar) and touring guitarist/ producer Andy Sneap. And if that wasn't enough... founding Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing is also on tour in the US in 2024 w/ K.K.'s Priest. The band features Tim 'Ripper' Owens (vocals) who replaced Rob Halford in Judas Priest from 1997 to 2003... K.K.'s Priest songs to check out - 'Hellfire thunderbolt'... 'Reap the whirlwind' ... 'Sermons of the Sinner' ... 'One more shot at glory'... 🤘🤘🔥🔥 K.K's Priest tour starting August 31 will also feature legendary German heavy metal band Accept... However, only Wolf Hoffmann (guitar) from the original band is in the current Accept line-up (w/ vocalist Mark Tornillo, bassist Martin Motnik, drummer Christopher Williams, guitarists Uwe Lulis & Philip Shouse) The classic Accept was: Udo Dirkschneider (vocals), Wolf Hoffmann & Jorge Fischer (guitars), Peter Baltes (bass) and Stefan Kaufmann (drums) ... Udo Dirkschneider has his own band U.D.O. and bassist Peter Baltes recently joined his band. Some Accept songs to check out - 'Balls to the wall'... 'Midnight mover' ... 'Fast as a shark' ... 'Princess of the Dawn'... 🤘🤘🔥🔥

To see (and hear) a different side to Judas Priest, "Before the Dawn" is a hauntingly beautiful and very powerful ballad, dealing with relationships ending and leaving (and being left by) the one you love. You should probably save that one for a solo reaction by one of the adults, I don't think (and I hope) Lulu is not ready for the subject matter!

I saw Judas Priest several times during the 80s including this tour. The biggest crowd I think they ever performed in front of was the concert I was at, the 1983 US Festival. You reacted to a Triumph video from that concert, Judas Priest also played that show in fact they were right before Triumph. Over 350,000 of us metalheads got to witness the show that day and Judas Priest was awesome. There’s a lot of videos from that concert, you should watch some of them you would love them. Fun reaction👏👏👏👏🤙🤙🤙🤙

This was at Reunion Arena, and I had seats in Section 126, front row lower balcony next to the stage. This was when K.K. Downing was still in the band as part of the twin guitars! K.K., the blonde, was once asked by a group of reporters if he was really a blonde or if he bleached his hair? His response was that he climbed up onto the table, dropped his pants, and asked if that answered their question? 😉

Lulu confuses the song title with "Born to be wild" by Steppenwolf. Get your motor runnin' Head out on the highway Lookin' for adventure And whatever comes our way...
@sumonjamal16535 ай бұрын
'Heading out to the Highway' was released in 1981 (This concert was in 1986 for the 'Turbo' album and made the 'Priest live' album in 1987 w/ the concert video) ... However, the album 'Point of Entry' by Judas Priest in 1981 was not a very popular record in their catalog. After the success of their 6th album 'British Steel' in 1980, Judas Priest wanted to explore making a more commercially appealing record, which became 'Point of Entry'... Besides 'Heading out to the Highway'... it still had some banger tunes ("Hot rockin' " ... 'Desert plains' ... 'Solar Angels') ... but fans did not care for the songs w/ lower intensity, like - "Don't go" (the first single)... 'Turning circles'... 'You say yes'... So, the album was a commercial disappointment (It sold gold in the US eventually) That was followed by a full-on heavy metal record in 1982 - 'Screaming for vengeance'... It became Judas Priest's biggest-selling album at 2x platinum in the US... w/ the singles - "The Hellion/ Electric Eye" ... "You've got another thing coming"... 🤘🤘🔥🔥

Unable to reply directly to the poster here who claims that Rob Halford and Bruce Dickinson are classically trained opera singers so I'm making a new comment. The claim is patently false. Quick google search will show this. There is excerpt from his book BIBLICAL: ROB HALFORD'S HEAVY METAL SCRIPTURES at Revolver Magazine's website where he talks about singing and that he never had a lesson in his life, self-taught. I just don't like seeing any misinformation. Been following both Priest and Iron Maiden for over 40 years and love them both.
