Candy Johnson died at 68 in the winter last year. I got to see her in person in 1964 at the Worlds Fair in NY. I liked her as much as Donna and Annette. These ladies provided me with my dream girls in my youth. I guess we are all getting older and tend to drift back to a good time in our life.

One of my favorites! Donna was one of the most under-rated true talents of the early-mid 60's. Her voice rocked! She should have had the commercial success and fame that her peers had in that era such as Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield, Lulu, Nancy Sinatra...etc... I think I've listened to EVERY one of her Shindig performances and she nailed all of them - THAT voice! :) And she was smokin hot as well!
