"exercises my trapezius"...besides all the cool (if often campy) sounds, all the beach party flicks had great bits by some all-time comic actors...but some of the coolest sounds were Donna's...thanks for posting these

When the muscle guys come down the walk at 1:10 the first one you see (with BIFF written on his shirt) is a young beardless Dan Haggerty who would later play Grizzly Adams.

Yes this song was to make fun of the muscle men.Donna in lilac does a great job with Dick.Great dancing,and yes I spotted white Keds ChampionS Tennis Shoes,which look great with swimsuits and casual,but even formals for ladies.

At 1:23 that guy in red and white almost pulls the girl's half of the sweater off (woo hoo). I haven't seen this clip since I saw it as a kid on the Ch 56 (Boston) "Million Dollar Movie". Donna Loren was such a cutie. I was so proud of myself as a teenager when I actually figured out how to play Dick Dale's "Misirlou". I was amazed to find out that Dick never cracked the Billboard Top 40 with any of his classic instrumentals (especially "Misirlou").

I wonder if the guy doing the handstand, and jumping on the back of one of the male dancers was supposed to do that? I doubt it cause it is cut from the scene in the next version of this clip down the list. Great stuff.

Notice the back jumping hand stander is missing after he did that move. I guess thrown out of the scene ? I am sure now he is still there! Saw him in another view. lol

THe first Beach Party film starring Annette and Frankie was 1963's BEACH PARTY. MUSCLE BEACH PARTY was the third. BIKINI BEACH was the second.
