I fear Donna has grown resentful of that power in her voice. I worry she feels she’s been pigeon holed into sounding like that all the time when there’s more to her. And maybe it’s just too strenuous on her … because her new music isn’t like this anymore… I respect her decisions and still listen fully and support fully.. but damn if this isn’t what made me fall in love with her music in the first place. I hope it comes back around.
