Bob Seger is a great rock singer, songwriter & musician known for his raspy powerful voice. He wrote & recorded songs that dealt with love, women & blue-collar themes. "Turn The Page" is my favorite by him. But he had so many great songs especially in the 70's-80's such as "Mainstreet", "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man", "Night Moves", "Still The Same", "Hollywood Nights", "Against The Wind", "You'll Accomp'ny Me", "Shame On The Moon", "Roll Me Away", "Like A Rock", "Shakedown", "We've Got Tonight" etc.

I forgot to tell you, in 2012 when I saw him for the fourth time. The whole crowd stood for the whole concert and sang along to every song. At times during certain songs I got emotional and cry a little bit. He is a artist that is so good at telling stories with his music. He is one of us, a hard working guy from the midwest. Thanks for the reaction to my guy.

I've seen Bob Seger live 🎉 5 times in my life. 3 times in the 70's and twice in the 2000's. He was fantastic every time, I've been a fan for over 48 years. He's in the rockin roll hall of fame and the songwriters hall of fame. He put out two albums in 1976 and they both went platinum. Night Moves is my favorite song, it brings back memories of the summer of 1976. Keep reacting to Bob Seger, you will enjoy every song.

The late Alto Reed on sax . When he passed away a few years ago is when Bob quit touring, claiming that it just wouldn't be the same without him . That's Alto Reed that you hear playing on Turn The Page .

Can not stress how big this was when it came out. I was 13 and it was played everywhere. At the skating rink it was a call to get on the floor and just go as fast as you could. Bob Segar is so iconic with songs from "Turn the Page" to "Kathmandu", which I highly recommend, and everything in between. And of course, you can't forget it being used in the Tom Cruise movie "Risky Business".

I just love Bob. He came to our area in NW Ohio from Detroit a lot. He played anywhere. High Schools. So he is the only one I heard before he became a big name. He paid his dues.

When he toured back in the day, he would always play 2 straight nights in Memphis. I always went to both nights, since I wouldn't remember the 1rst night, so the 2nd night seemed new to me.

"Old Time Rock and Roll" achieved substantial album-oriented rock radio airplay and as the fourth single from Stranger in Town, it reached number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1979. It was re-released in 1983 after its inclusion in the film Risky Business and reached number 48 on the Billboard chart. great reaction

Thank you ladies for taking us along. While I know the song well, I had not seen this performance. Donna had my attention as she described the two looks of Bob Seger, with her Southern Bell accent. At least that's how she sounds to my northern ears. She is so right that if that song don't get you out of your seat, check your pulse. Why isn't Donna on the billing? Just kidding, Love you guys. Peace.

One thing about Bob as well is he is one of the nicest people in the music industry as well. very approachable. Some of his other stuff to watch is "the fire inside" anything off the "American Storm" album for some of his less known but powerful songs.
