You should know that a lot of what Omar does on the show is based off Donnies actual life. Donnie shared his tirades with the shows producers and they made it part of the show. If you listen to the video you will understand that ED Burns one of the people behind The Wire was an Investigative officer at the time that arrested Donnie for the crimes he had committed. "Art imitates Life" and Donnie is who influenced Omar.

@musicinspiresall7 жыл бұрын
David Simon was a writer for the Baltimore Sun when all the real characters of the wire and the corner were deep in the game. He wrote about Avon, Stringer, Prop Joe, Omar, Marlo, Munk the detective, and the list goes on. These are true character based on true events that Simon had access and wrote about at the Sun. You just have to research. If these people alive they actually roles in front and behind the camera in the Wire that's were the compensation comes in, but he is using there stories.
