I was 15 when this came out, loved it!!! Then forgot about it, but came across it again today at allmost 52 y.o. What an amazing memory and song!! Even after more than 35 years....😍

I fell in love with this amazing singer when I was 10 years old. I used to lay on the floor in the bedroom with my face on the cover of his album dreaming about seeing him and meeting him in person. I finally did meet him around the time that this song was popular at a concert near where I live. He actually kissed me on the cheek while holding my hand and thanking me for attending the concert. I met him again later when I was in the 50s and he was doing appearances at local stores in Utah, and he was just as warm and charming as he was, when I was young. I’ve loved Donny since I was a little girl and I will love him until the day I die. His voice, charm and character reached into my heart and touched it. Hearing him sing, always makes me smile and brings me joy. ❤️❤️❤️

Still as beautiful as ever. It voice has always been a weakness of mine. After my dad he was my first love. Those songs back in the 70's still stirs my heartstrings. He has a charming voice. I'm glad to see he is still going strong.

I remember seeing Donny in concert during the "mullet" years (1987-1988) and seeing this music video along with "Groove", another music video that he released during this time. "I'm In It For Love" is an amazing song and I'm surprised it didn't become a big hit in the U.K. where it was released. Of course, it wouldn't be until 1989 when "Soldier of Love" was played at a radio station and he was identified as a "mystery singer" that Donny's solo career took off again.

Yep, my eldest sister was a mental Donny fan, since 1970. But for me it was after seeing him sing live this track. At a show at the Paladium in London.
