Yes, me too, Mrs Osmond & Mr Osmond raised a wonderful group of kids, not one scandal of those men ever not one, I’ve been a fan of theirs forever , good decent family they were judged through her entire career, I felt so bad for them because they were robbed, and shows like this like you said, which was nice and easy now I wonder if Mrs. Osmond actually did surprise them

Wouldn’t it be something to have shows lie this today. Not all voiced over or prerecorded lip singing…..it was a better world back then…. Glad I was around to see it.

What a wonderful brood of talented singers of the Osmonds. Thank you so much Andy Williams for guesting them on your shows often. I remember clipping pictures of the Osmonds & pasting them on my extra notebook when I was in high school. Jay Osmond was my crush then! They were popular here in the Philippines & Donny was able to have his concert way back in the early or mid 70's. Still listening to them this Oct 27,2020 amidst the pandemic. Keep safe & God bless.

Alan is definitely the most handsome. Young, he reminded me of someone that belonged in those 60s Disney live actions. Marie has not always been good-looking! Seen her 'round ten in the Calipis commercials? Kinda funny looking, she's 10 in those. I personally like Merrill. Donny's always been 'cute'. Not really handsome in a grown up way. Thought the others at his age looked more mature.

That is what I think about too Naser. I am imagining a talent of Donny's level acknowledging some nobody from nowhere that was pursuing career--to stay that humble like donny has stayed is so rare in modern world.
@lisam40664 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure Andy Williams wasn't a nobody. My parents listened to his music & I can remember his Christmas TV specials from when I was little. There was a song called Moon River which was a big hit some 60 years ago & was the theme to the Audrey Hepburn movie breakfast at Tiffany's.
@35diamondgirl13 жыл бұрын
@gmonet46 I read an old Andy Williams interview recently in which he talks about how the vocal director on his show (George Wyle, I think) taught the Osmonds more modern and sophisticated arrangements in the Four Freshmen style. If you watch old clips of the boys on Andy's show in chronological order, you can hear how their vocal arrangements evolved and became more complex rather quickly.

Congrats to the osmond kids for being mature enough to be semi-grownups even as kids. They appear to be mature professionals and that is so rare in hollywood now a days that it (in and of itself seems shocking to most young minds)
